Welcome to Huisartsen Ganzenhoef

See below for information about Covid-19.

Huisartsen Ganzenhoef exists since 2015 and is situated opposite Ganzenpoort shopping center. The following doctors are working at Huisartsen Ganzenhoef: Maurice Bom, Marc van der Pas and Addy van der Woude (photo). We are enthusiastic GP’s who want to deliver GP care to the residents of the Bijlmer in a modern and personal way. Together we have years of experience as general practitioner in Amsterdam Zuidoost.

Unfortunately, we currently do not accept new patients in our practice. In order to continue to provide good healthcare, we want to set limits to the size of our practice.

We offer the opportunity to arrange a lot of your healthcare online with us. Look for “About the app” in the menu bar. Of course, this connection is fully protected. When asked, our assistant is happy to answer you.

For information about vaccination you can call the RIVM on the national information number 0800-1351.
More information about vaccination against SarsCoV2 can be found at coronavaccinatie.nl, coronavaccinatie.nl/AstraZeneca, RIVM Q&A about the corona vaccin and also this film, this film and this film.

From the last week of January, the GGD started vaccinating people aged 65 and older in special vaccination centers. They started with the mobile over-90s, inviting from old to young every 5 years. Vaccination is done with the BioNTech / Pfizer (Comirnaty) vaccine.

From 5 May, people with a medical indication born in 1961 up to and including 2003 (18 to 59 years) will be invited by the GGD in phases. The selection of who receives an invitation is provided by your own doctor and is the same as the selection of people who are eligible for the flu shot.

Vaccination by the GP:
On Friday April 16 we vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine. This took place in the NoLimit community center.
The following groups have been invited:

  1. people born in the years 1956 to 1960 (approximately 60 to 64 years old)
  2. people with Down syndrome between 60 and 74 years
  3. overweight people with a BMI over 40 from 60 to 74 years

The vaccination takes place together with the other general practices in Amsterdam Southeast and Diemen South and took place over several days. Each group will be vaccinated twice.
The 2nd vaccination will take place on Friday, July 9.

The non-mobile elderly who could not come to the GGD for a vaccination are also vaccinated by the general practitioner with the Astra Zeneca vaccine.

Your GP is also available during the corona crisis for questions or complaints that you are worried about. You can contact our practice via telephone and internet, preferably via e-consultation via the portal. It is not possible to come directly to the practice.

The doctor’s assistant and / or the general practitioner will determine together with you what is best to do in your situation.

If necessary, we also see patients in the practice and have seperate moments where we see people with respiratory complaints and / or fever, where we use the necessary personal protective equipment.

In thepractice, a mouth mask is mandatory for patients, even without covid-19 related complaints. So come to the practice with a mouth mask. This obligation does not count for children up to and including 12 years old, unless there is a suspicion of Covid-19.

Due to the corona virus, we now have NO walk-in consultation hour. Making appointments online is possible again.

Do you have a fever (temperature above 38 degrees) and a cough and/or shortness of breath? Then DO NOT come to the practice but call us! We can then estimate whether there is a risk of the new corona virus.

From 1 June, anyone with mild complaints that may indicate the coronavirus can call 0800-1202 to make an appointment for a test at the GGD. The number is free and available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is also possible to request a test online from the GGD at rijksoverheid.nl/corontest.
